What more can I say that has not already been said by other reviewers? This is food of the highest quality, prepared to perfection with the best local ingredients. The wine list is small, but excellent. Were this restaurant in Rome, Milan, of Florence, the plates would be three or four times the price but of not better quality. The pasta is handmade, the sauces (the crema di fave, for example) are extraordinary, the antipasti divine, and the meats prepared to perfection (al sangue). This is one of the best restaurants in the Velino valley and the entire province of Rieti. You need to eat here. Life is short. You owe it to yourself.

Small but really characteristic, typical of the inland areas, old shelves, old furniture restored to furnish everything with taste. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Everything we ate was of excellent quality and with careful preparation. Really good house white wine. Had an excellent evening, it is worth taking into consideration.

Amazingly good restaurant. I can’t believe I had the most delicious amatriciana I ever tasted for less than 10. Staff was super friendly and food was top notch. I strongly recommend to stop here if you’re in the area.

Definitely recommend this restaurant: authentic local food, reasonably priced, in a beautiful town in central Italy. The restaurant is small, so booking a table in advance is strongly advised.

I returned to this restaurant after about a year and found it, if possible, even better than the last time where I had already left super satisfied.New dishes included in the menu allow you to experiment with new combinations, all delicious. There were 20 of us, practically the entire room reserved for us and other customers present at the tables outside, fast and impeccable service despite the large number of diners compared to the size of the place. We ate an appetizer of cured meats, cheeses with compotes and excellent quality bruschetta. Then two tastings of first courses, an exceptional carbonara revisited with truffles and excellent gnocchi with burrata, yellow datterino tomatoes and confit red tomatoes. For the second course we all chose the roast pork, some with red onion jam and crispy bacon and some with compote of must and pine nuts, very soft meat and truly delicious combinations. For dessert we chose an excellent tiramisu and caramelized peaches cooked at low temperature with Chantilly cream, both desserts are truly exceptional.Overall, a superlative dinner and excellent value for money. Congratulations indeed to Marco and Gian Marco for their cuisine and to all the staff who welcomed us and made us feel truly pampered, great guys!
